Document Description
SWRCB as the lead agency will be issuing a water supply permit. CA Water Service Company - Bakersfield will pour a 462 foot (minimum 2-foot deep) pad, and install 2 12 foot diameter approx. 16.58 foot tall TCP treatment tanks, on the new pad at an existing well and tank site, (BKNG-174-01). A chlorine storage and feed equipment will also be installed and 12-inch diameter, approx. 105 foot long discharge line will be laid from the catch basin within the fenced site into Victor Street to connect up with the city sewer system. Approx. 67 feet of 8-12 inch diameter piping will connect the well to the treatment tanks and the rest of the water system. A hydro pneumatic tank's piping will be reconfigured to connect to the water system after the booster pumps. A 12-inch diameter polyvinyl chloride (pvc) water main will be replaced with 12 inch carbon steel piping. An old oximeter will be replaced with a flow meter. Construction will occur within a 6300 ft area of the fenced 13,939 ft total well and tank site and within an approx. 400 ft area of an existing roadway. The project will provide for the operation of the system.
