Document Description
CDFW has executed lake and streambed alteration agreement no. 1600-2018-0015-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the fish and game code to Squaw Valley Public Service District. The project is limited to placement of a new sewer line under the Truckee River by means of a horizontal boring. The project will entail the construction of a starting pit 10 ft by 20 ft by approx 6 ft deep, on one side of the river; and a receiving pit, 8 ft by 12 ft by approx 6 ft deep, on the opposite bank of the river in addition to the actual horizontal boring. The length of the boring is expected to be 350 ft in length. Additionally, the old siphon will be permanently disconnected, the pipe filled with grout and abandoned in place.
