Document Description
Improve safety for safety for maintenance workers by making changes to approximately 69 locations along Route 1. The project will modify or relocate roadside facilities and improve safe access to reduce the need for maintenance workers and vehicles to be on the roadside, and to reduce life cycle cost. The project would relocate and cluster existing roadside facilities to safer work locations away from the traveled way. In addition, maintenance vehicle pullouts and access gates will be added. Project details are captured in mapping dated October 16, 2017.
