- An OHMVR Division grant will fund restoration of a previously closed OHV trail segment (~0.5 acres). The project will stabilize the hillside to as natural a condition as possible, including using native brush and mulch from the project area and installing straw wattles to add roughness, increase infiltration, reduce erosion, and help retain soil on the site. Drainage features will be maintained or enhanced to protect the slope until vegation is established to provide long-term erosion control. Additional signs will be posted guiding visitors to legal OHV opportunities.
