- CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2017-0326-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Tehama-Colusa Canal Authority. Project includes the installation of rock slope protection along bank of Elk Creek to repair recent erosion and protect against future erosion towards the Tehama-Colusa Canal bank. In order to backfill the eroded area, approx. 850 cubic yards of engineered fill will be placed along approx. 192 linear feet of the east bank of Elk Creek. The fill will be graded at 2:1 bank slope and will be covered with geotextile fabric. approx. 280 cubic yards of rip-rap will be placed over the graded bank below the top of bank.
