Reasons for Exemption
On February 12, 2017, the Governor signed an Emergency Declaration for the emergency caused by the erosion of Lake Oroville's spillway. Governor's Executive Order B-39-17, dated April 6, 2017 suspended CEQA and any regulations adopted pursuant to CEQA for additional access points to Lake Oroville for recreational use. The proposed project will increase the capacity of existing access points to comply with Executive Order B-39-17.
