Document Description
The purpose of the project is to accept 3 acres of land by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) from Penn National Gaming, Inc., a Pennsylvania corporation to satisfy a mitigation requirement due to the State Route 94 highway widening project. The land contains high quality coastal sage scrub that supports the potential occurrence of sensitive species such as the California gnatcatcher, the California rufous-crowned sparrow, the Orange-throated whiptail and the San Diego horned lizard.
