Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes a Traffic Safety project to install a pedestrian hybrid beacon system and a high visibility crosswalk at the intersection of State Route (SR) 108, Stanislaus Avenue, and S. Wood Avenue in the City of Oakdale within Stanislaus County. Construction will occur within Caltrans right of way. The purpose of this project is to create better visibility at the intersection and increase motorist awareness of crossing pedestrians. The project is needed to reduce the number and severity of accidents between vehicles and pedestrians.
