Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes a Traffic Safety project to install a missing Chevron Alignment sign, upgrade delineators, and install a Horizontal Alignment sign combined with an advisory speed limit and flashing beacon on the connector ramp from westbound State Route (SR) 120 to northbound Interstate (I-5), at post mile 15.0 on I-5 in San Joaquin County. All work will occur within Caltrans right of way. The purpose of this project is to warn motorists of an approaching curve on the connector ramp and to reduce their speed. The need for this project is to reduce the number and severity of hit object collisions.
