Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) is a Responsible Agency for the Project. The State Water Board’s Clean Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) Program is financing the Project. The Project will consist of the following components: Installation of a new diversion pipe by open cut on Butterfield Road between Arroyo Avenue and Kenrick Avenue. Existing six inch sewer mains along the edges of the right-of-way would be abandoned in place and replaced with a new twelve inch sewer main located in Butterfield Road with flows and laterals rerouted to the new diversion sewer. The construction route includes approximately 1,441 linear feet of pipe. The entire route is expected to be constructed by open cut. Additionally, approximately 1,000 linear feet of laterals would be replaced or extended by open cut. The majority of these pipelines fall either within public right-of-way or in designated easements running through private property. Approximately ten manholes would be replaced or installed, each requiring an excavation of approximately eight feet by eight feet.
