Document Description
Note: Review Per Lead
Caltrans is proposing to construct a northbound auxiliary lane on SR 99 from the Hatch Rd/Joyce Ave on-ramp to the South 9th St off-ramp near the city of Modesto in Stanislaus County. The project would also widen outside shoulders to 10 ft wide and replace an existing soundwall. A new soundwall would be constructed a max of 13 ft from the new edge of travel way. Removal of the existing soundwall and construction of the new soundwall would require the existing frontage road to be shifted eastward. The total amount of new ROW required would be approx 0.23 acre or 10,000 sf. Estimated cost of the proposed project is $3,499,000; the ROW cost is estimated to be $1,270,000.
