Document Description
PG&E currently operates the 16-inch diameter natural gas transmission line 210B (L-210B) along Creed Road. PG&E will remove a 20-inch diameter casing where the L-210B pipeline crosses beneath Creed Road at Location D-1003A, Mile Post 6.68 (Project). This pipeline casing is no longer required, and its removal is needed to meet
current pipeline safety standards. The purpose of the overall project is to bring the L-210B pipeline up to current standards and allow for continued operation while protecting the public and infrastructure. The Project as covered under this Agreement is limited to the bed, bank, channel, and associated stream vegetation of two channels adjacent and parallel to Creed Road. The Project subject to this Agreement includes: 1) the placement of traffic-rated steel plates over the unpaved margins of Creed Road to protect the roadside channels, and 2) excavating portions of an approximately 10-foot wide by 65-foot-long by 10-foot-deep trench across Creed Road through existing fill for to remove the existing casing on L-210B, inspect the pipe, and make necessary repairs.
The Project will cause temporary impacts to 10 linear feet and 36 square feet of stream habitat within the bed, bank, channel, and associated stream vegetation of the ditches.
