Document Description
CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2018-0224-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, City of Jackson. This project is limited to the removal of an existing bridge on South Avenue spanning jackson Creek. Jackson Creek will be realigned to remove a sharp bend directed at Highway 49 and the embankments will be regraded to 2:1 slopes, borth and south of the new bridge location. A total of 0.036 acres of Jackson Creek will be permanently impacted and a total of 0.144 acres of channel will be created due to the realignment. A new double lane bridge will be installed over Jackson Creek in a different alignment and will intersect with Highway 49. Relocating and/or replacing existing utilities will be associated with this work and will include improvements to an adjacent shopping center parking lot, restriping existing roadways, and relocating overhead electrical utilities. Water will be diverted during all work within the stream if water is present. The project will involve the removal of five trees, each over 8-inches in diameter.
