- Document Description
- The proposed project would entail an expansion of the existing gym and track and field improvements. The proposed new gym and locker rooms would be attached to the existing gym in an area previously used for portable buildings. The new gym and locker room building would include a total of 19,000 gsf. The building height would be 33 ft, 10 in at the peak of the roof. Mechanical equipment would be located on the roof. Renovations to the existing locker rooms and existing gym would include minor entry and storage area modifications to the existing gym and a complete redevelopment of the boys' locker area. The overall locker area would be expanded to the north to allow for a girls' locker room. No building demolition would be required except for the existing portables that are on the south side of the site. Daily and seasonal usage of the gym would be unchanged from existing conditions.
