Document Description
In above average water years when Reclamation District 108 determines that surplus water supplies are available, the district desires to transfer up to 10,000 AF of surplus water to Colusa County Water District, and Dunnigan Water District. The proposed 5 years water transfer is intended to allow CCWD and DWD to utilize the surplus surface water in lieu of pumping groundwater from March 1, 2018 to February 28, 2023, which will increase the beneficial use of the surface water in the area and assist with reducing the amount of groundwater being pumped in the area.
