Document Description
The proposed project would consist of replacing the existing bridge on Eastside Road over Olney Creek with a three-span, cast-in-place, concrete slab structure with two support piers in the channel. The existing bridge, built in 1954, exhibits abutment scour, lacks pedestrian sidewalk, and does not meet current design standards. The new bridge would be approx 52 ft wide and 86 ft long. The new roadway approach profile would include two 12-ft wide lanes, 8-ft wide shoulders, and 6-ft wide sidewalks on both sides of Eastside Rd. The proposed sidewalk on the east side of the road would connect to an existing sidewalk in the southeastern corner of the project area. Approach roadwork would extend approx 200 ft to the south and up to 300 ft to the north and east of Olney Creek bridge.
