- Note: Extended Caltrans proposes to rehabilitate SR 99 in Merced County in the city of Merced from 0.5 mile south of Childs Ave to 0.8 mile south of the Franklin Rd Overcrossing. The project also includes closing gaps at ten southbound and northbound structures, repairing, replacing, or upgrading asphalt concrete dikes and curbs, adding shoulder backing, upgrading and constructing ADA ramps, replacing metal beam guard rails, and upgrading terminal sections, replacing existing drainage grates with bicycle proof grates, and replacing approach/departure slabs.
