Document Description
This grant funded project would be constructed in two phases. Phase 1 consists of constructing a biofiltration basin and maintenance access road; clearing debris and vegetation in the channel; lining and the channel with turf reinforcing mat; installing a wooden fence to prevent pedestrian from entering the biofiltration basin area; installing interpretive signs; and constructing a weir with a riprap lined forebay to collect trash, vegetation, and other debris during storm events. Phase 2 consists of installing riprap along the channel banks; clearing debris and vegetation upstream of the proposed biofiltration basin; replacing the existing 60-in concrete circular culvert with a 10-ft by 5-ft concrete box culvert; improving curbs; and sidewalks; and construction a bioswale and a new sidewalk.
