- The proposed project is the construction and operation of a facility to manufacturing large commercial transportation vessels on an approx 10-acre site, which includes portions of the former Southwest Marine site and entirely disturbed. Construction would take between 16 and 18 months and would involve the following: demolition of one existing structure, construction of foundations, installation of a prefabricated manufacturing building and ancillary tank farm, paving over existing dirt for parking and access driveways, and repairs to existing wharf.
