Activities include exploratory soil boring (for mud rotary tests) and a seismic cone penetrating test (SCPT) within public road right of way. Truck-mounted or track-mounted equipment would drill 5- to 8- inch-diameter boreholes or perform the SCPT. Piezometers might be installed for long-term groundwater monitoring.
