This project will support the build out of hydrogen refueling hydrogen infrastructure to support the roll out of fuel cell vehicles in California. The project will develop a hydrogen refueling station at 5494 Mission Center Rd, San Diego, CA 92108 to serve the growing number of hydrogen powered zero emission vehicles deployed in California. This station increases the reliability of the hydrogen refueling network in the San Diego County area and the surrounding communities.
Existing facilities; New Construction or Conversion of Small Structures, Minor Alterations to Land. The project is to develop a hydrogen refueling station by adding hydrogen storage, compression and dispensing equipment wth an estimated maximum footprint of 1,000 square feet and trenching up to 50 feet to an existing retail gasoline station.
Consists of the operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing, or minor alteration of existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion of use beyond that existing at the time of the lead agency's determination
