Document Description
The project involves building a new retaining wall behind an existing wall along the backyard of the residence. The new wall will be a soldier pile retaining wall that will be approx 92 ft long. The existing post and lagging wooden wall will be removed once the new wall is constructed. The height of the new wall will approx match the elevation of the existing wall, which is approx 8 ft above the stream bed. The wall will be supported with approx 17, 18-in diameter drilled piers installed about six ft apart. The piers will be reinforced concrete and will support steel I-beams that brace horizontal wooded lagging. Issuance of a streambed alteration agreement no. 1600-2015-0186-R3 is pursuant to fish and game code section 1602.
