Document Description
The project will enhance the existing plaza at the PIA offices. The project is installation of two shade structures, walkways, and meeting areas and will replace grass with drought tolerant plants. The shade structures will be approximately 1,000 square feet and 400 square feet. The location is in a developed and disturbed area of the PIA facilities.
This event plaza is being constructed by the offenders enrolled in the Carrier Technical Education Program as a class project. this will provide real hands on experience for these offenders. Once the plaza has been constructed, offender graduations and training will take place in this area.
