Document Description
The proposed project consists of the installation of an IP (internet protocol) based PA/intercom system at the project sites. The purpose of the system would typically be used for emergency announcements, but could also be used for general announcements throughout the day. The PA/intercom system would not be used for long term broadcasting of radio or music programs. The main headend unit, which includes the volume control would be placed at the schools' main frame distribution room. The handset for making announcements would be in the school office. The intercom system would provide communication from the school office to the activated PA/intercom.
