Eleven projects to implement the Transformative Climate Communities Program Grant:
1) Transit Pass Program/Travel Training - Provide transit passes to households in TCC Project Area
2) Routes 83/86 - realign Route 86 and increase service on Route 83 to serve TCC Project Area
3) Omnitrans Bus Shelters - Install bus shelters within existing right of way in TCC Project Area
4) Mobility Hub - Adaptive reuse of historic Fallis House into a transit hub
5) Omnitrans Operational Costs 83/86 - Purchase new buses and operational costs for Routes 83/86 project
6) Enhanced Pedestrian Crossings - Install high visibility crosswalks at 10 locations
7) Pedestrian Pathway Improvements /Network Connectivity - Construct 10 segments of missing sidewalks
8) Green Decarbonized Energy program - Install solar electric systems on 100 homes
9) Urban Canopy - Plant trees in TCC Project Area and provide 3 years of maintenance
10) Healthcare Workers and Green Jobs Workforce Development Program - Provide training for residents in TCC Area
11) Downtown Ontario Small Business Development Program - programs to attract and support small businesses
