State Parks General Plan and Bureau of Reclamation Management Plan.
This updated General Plan for Auburn State Recreation Area accurately reflects resource conditions, park management and potential opportunities. A thorough planning process that evaluates existing conditions and assesses current and potential uses was conducted. Consistent with the Public Resources Code, the GP evaluated and defined proposed land uses, facilities, operation of the unit, resource management, and any environmental impacts of implementing the GP. The GP will serve as the guide for future development, management, and operation of Auburn State Recreation Area.
