Document Description
An EIR for the College Lake Project was certified in October 2019. Subsequently, design progressed and an Addendum was prepared to document changes in the Project Description and impacts on the environment. The primary purposes of the Project are to help balance the groundwater basin, prevent further seawater intrusion, and meet water supply need in PV Water's service area by developing College Lake as a water storage and supply source. Modified Project components include the weir structure and intake pump station, water treatment plant, and a 6-mile-long pipeline. On average, the Project would generally supply approximately 1,800 to 2,300 acre-feet per year of water to growers in the Pajaro Valley.
