- Document Description
- The Project plans to restore approximately 350 acres of meadow habitat in the Davies Creek watershed to raise groundwater levels and return the Creek to its historic channels. Direct impacts within the project footprint are anticipated to be approximately 25 acres. The project involves filling the current degraded channels in the meadow, and removing and re-contouring the railroad grade that crosses the meadow to restore natural hydrologic function and return flows to their historic channels. Re-vegetating and stabilizing the disturbed areas with native and local plant species will stabilize the site and ensure long term success.
