Document Description
The construction of a five-acre detention basin. The five-acre detention basin meets the need to expand the storage capacity beyond the previously approved adjacent ten-acre detention basin. During heavy storm events the detention basins will temporarily store community stormwater runoff until it can be conveyed to Laguna Creek. Most of the time, the basins will be the detention basins by DWR, Southgate Park and Rec District will develop and maintain soccer and play fields with lighting, irrigated turf and landscape.
The approved ten-acre detention basin site and proposed five-acre detention basin are located on the southern parcels of the proposed Wildhawk West Park site.
