The Project includes improvements to the City's public water system. Improvements include replacing the Lower Humbug and Shasta Belle water tanks, installing new water mains, and installing a water well. The improvements are needed in order to provide additional storage to meet current Waterworks Standards, ensure a safe and reliable drinking water supply, and provide an emergency backup water supply.
