Document Description
The Northwest Open Space Community Park Project includes the improvement of approx 5.31 acres, which includes approx 3.61 acres of the existing park with passive recreational features, an expanded group cultural area, a new parking lot, and a new pole corral and 1.7 acres of existing Camino Capistrano for a new turn lane and roadway entry to the park. At the southern part of the park will be an expanded group cultural area, approx 1 acre in size, which will include a presentation area with seating, a discovery trail, shade trees, and various depictions of Native American culture to represent the land's history. The project also includes traffic-related street improvements along Camino Capistrano to ensure that safe turn movements for ingress and egress are achieved.
