Document Description
The Cross Valley Canal 24th Street just east of Buck Owens Blvd in Bakersfield, CA. The city of Bakersfield and Caltrans have embarked on the 24th St Improvements project, which includes widening 24th St by approx 12 lf and constructing a new spread footing retaining wall. The Cross Valley Canal 24th Street Widening Mitigation Project proposes to construct a reinforced concrete bridging structure over the CVC Undercrossing to accommodate the additional loading from the expanded roadway, retaining wall and vehicle traffic created by the 24th St Improvements Project.
