The proposed project involves the addition of the definition of an unattended donation box to the city zoning code, an amendment to the Long Beach zoning code to allow unattended donation boxes as an accessory use in all commercial zoning districts, the institutional zoning district, and all planned development districts and specific plan districts allowing commercial uses, and establishment of new standards for UDBs in zoning code section 21.51 accessory uses.
