Document Description
The proposed project would replace aging and outdated administrative and laboratory buildings, address needed security and site improvements in both the north and south areas of the plant, and to accommodate Caltrans/OCTA plans for the new southbound I-405 on ramp at Ellis Avenue. The existing structures that would be demolished as part of the project include the engineering, contracts, and risk management trailers, and the administration, laboratory, and human resources buildings. The following facilities would be constructed in their place: (1) a 109,500 square feet administration building; (2) a 42,500 square feet two story laboratory building; a two level parking structure with 360 spaces; and landscaping, signage and security lighting
