Caltrans is planning a drainage system restoration project on I-5 at various locations near Grapevine in Kern County from PM 5.4 to 9.0. The project proposes to rehabilitate the concrete channel for the drainage system within the project limits. More specifically, the project proposes to clean out the channel, saw cut and remove the concrete from the bottom of the channel, replace the concrete, and slurry any voids caused by erosion.
