Ventura Water, as part of the Ventura Water Pure Project (Project), proposes to reduce discharge of tertiary treated wastewater to the Santa Clara River Estuary to an average annual continued discharge rate of 1.9 million gallons per day (MGD) for Phase 1A and to an average annual continued discharge rate of 0.0-0.5 MGD for Phase 1B of the Project.
