Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) as the lead agency will be issuing a water supply permit. Golden State Water Company proposes to replace an existing 100 gallon per minute manganese treatment system with a new treatment system within an existing building. A 44,000 gallon backwash tank outside the building will also be replaced with also be replaced with a same size tank. Sludge from the backwash process will be hauled off a couple times per year. Piping will be replaced to connect the new system to the well. The project will occur on an 8,712 foot 2 existing fenced well and treatment site. The proejct will provide for the operation of the facilities.
