Cherry Oil Road Culvert Replacement Project
NOE - Notice of Exemption
The Project will replacememnt of four (4) existing culvert structures following a State Proclamation of Emergency. The work involves negligible or no expansion of use to Cherry Oil Road. Cherry Oil Road is the only road that provides access to critical SFPUC water infrastructure in the Stanislaus National Forest.
Central Valley Water Board determined the project to be exempt from CEQA per Section 15369 - Emergency Projects (a) - repair, or replace facilities damaged as a result of a disaster, (b) - emergency repairs to publicly owned service facilities, and (d) - projects undertaken, carried out, or approved by a public agency to repair an existing highway damaged by fire, or flood.
