Document Description
CDFW has executed a Lake and Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2017-0190-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Chris Maschal. Project consists of shoreline excavation and installation of piers for a new dock. The project will occur in two phases. While water levels in the lake are lowered by Tri-dam, the excavation project will occur in dry conditions. Shoreline excavation will require the removal of approx. 860 cubic yards of material from the 498 foot elevation contour up to 509 foot contour to level the ground within the footprint of the dock. Excavated soil will be removed from the site and deposited in an approved location where it will not re-enter the lake or a watercourse. Once lake water levels have risen, a barge with a pile driver will install the piers (two 2-inch galvanized steel poles at the 515 foot elevation contour) to which the floating dock and ramp will be attached. Equipment to complete the project may include handheld tools; excavator and dump truck; and a barge with a pile driver.
