Document Description
The project will create a sustainable road used for emergency response and maintenance by park staff and as a hiking and biking route for park visitors. The road is entrenched and erodes with each rain event causing runoff from the parking lot and adjacent hillside. To repair the problems and create a sustainable road, the surface and downhill side of the road will be reshaped to either better utilize existing drainage features or sheet flow off the roadway. All material removed will be used on the existing road to create slope. Standard protect requirements shall be utilized to protect park resources.
