Document Description
CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2017-0689-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Mr. and Ms. Menke. The project is limited to the work necessary to protect Shackleford Creek Diversion pipe (pipe) across Mill Creek and create a single stream channel at the location that allows for sufficient freeboard and sediment transport. For approx. 100 feet above and below the pipe, Mill Creek will be put into a trapezoidal channel matching the upstream and downstream channel width and depth. The linear profile of the streambed will match existing upstream and downstream conditions. In addition, two support cradles will be installed instream at the pipe to provide an estimated 4-5 feet of free-board. Larger boulders from the site will be used to surround the new cradle on the north side of the new channel which will make the pipeline and stream bank more stable.
