Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement nu,ber 1600-2017-0059-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Ernest Wipf, representing Wipf Construction. The project is limited to one encroachment. The project will repair a histpric access road, and use this access for equipment to armor approximately 100 feet of eroding streambank on the upstream(west) side of the bridge. Appropiate bioengeineering techniques will be used to armor the bank. Fish and amphibians found in a pool of standing water will be relocated prior to commencement to work.

The project uses bioengineering techniques to reduce erosion of a streambank and associated sedimentation. There will be no significant adverse impact on endangered, rare or threatened species or their habitat pursuant to section 15065. There are no hazardous materials at or around the project site that may be disturbed or removed. The project will not result in impacts that are significant when viewed in connection with the effects of past projects, the effects of other current projects, and the effects of probably future projects. Project consists of minor alteration in the condition of land and vegetation that does not involve the removal of healthy, mature scenic trees
