Document Description
The project would stabilize a failing rock all in accordance with the Secretary of interior's Standards for the preservation of historic resources. The Civilian Conservation Corp likely constructed the rock wall. The project would include minor repairs to adjacent facilities including asphalt surfaces. It is believed that squirrels have undermined the wall's footing, allowing water and ice to intrude causing the wall to deteriorate. Further detail regarding technique for the reconstruction as well as measures to lessen impact to this resource and those surrounding it may be obtained through a request to the contact found below.
