Document Description
The project includes replacement of a segment of existing water main on East Lennox Street, and improvements to eight water filters at the Water Treatment Plant (WTP).
The East Lennox Street water main is at the end of its useful service life. It has been subject to numerous breaks and leaks, and requires excessive maintenance to keep it functional. Approximately 2,450 feet of 12-inch water main will be replaced with a 16-inch water main. Upsizing the pipe is required to provide adequate fire flows. The pipe would be installed in the East Lennox Street right-of-way and under Interstate 5.
