Document Description
DWR is proposing to remove and prune vegetation on both banks of Sacramento Riverupstream and downstream of the State Highway 32 (Hamilton city) and Ord Ferry bridges. DWR is also proposing to back-flush sediment that has settled in the intake pipes of both the Hamilton City and Ord Ferry stream gages.

The project is limited to the removal of vegetation around the Hamilton city stream gage and 20 feet upstream and 50 feet downstream of the Hamilton City and Ord Ferry bridges to enhance the accuracy of the flood forecasting equipment. All vegetation removal will be conducted with hand tools. The project will not result in any ground disturbance or significant impact to the environment.
