Document Description
The project is limited to the construction of a series of rock weirs on the right bank of Sand Creek in cut bank positions and in areas where banks are showing signs of erosion or are over-steepened. Weirs will extend from a mid-bank elevation and angle upstream across the channel thalweg. The purpose of the weirs is to trap sediment, stabilize the banks, provide energy dissipation and redirect flow to the opposite bank.
