Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2017-0527-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Joseph Scriven, representing Mendocino County Resource Conservation District.
The project is limited to one encroachment. The project will armor approx. 60 feet of eroding bank, using willow/brush mattresses and willow stakes driven into the bed. Turbidity in a standing, isolated pool of water in the project site will be minimized by the use of a boom truck to keep workers from wading in the pool. A 35-foot log on the opposite bank will be anchored in place to promote wood accumulation and to discourage use of a historic dry crossing.
