Document Description
The Project is limited to installation of a 36-foot long concrete pier-supported retaining wall to arrest a small section of the top of bank that is sluffing off into the drainage. Twenty feet above current streambed grade, the top of bank will be excavated for a work bench and to allow for a minimum 2-foot embedment of the concrete retaining wall and three pier tiebacks to anchor the wall. The pier-supported retaining wall will not exceed 6 feet in total height, with two (2) feet minimum embedmen into top of bank and four (4) feet maximum above top of bank. The existing fene will be replaced on top of the concrete retaining wall and will not exceed 4 feet above the retaining wall. An estimate of 10 cubic yards of soil will be excavated to accommodate the retaining wall, pier and tieback anchor installation.
