Document Description
The project would construct a regional trail facility using the BART and UPRR Oakland Subdivision corridor ROW, and public streets, consisting of Class I Multi-Use Path and Class IV Separated Bikeway facilities. The project would provide physical separation and protection between vehicles and trail users by providing a facility that is safe and comfortable for bicyclists and pedestrians of all ages and abilities. The project would also include crossings at intersections and midblock locations including traffic control (stop signs and signals) and other modifications to ensure safe and accessible operation.
