Document Description
Note: Review Per Lead
The FRVCSD proposes to construct a new water storage tank, booster pump station, new fire pumps, and new electrical system on their existing McArthur Well #1 site to increase distribution system reliability and fire flow capacity in the town of McArthur. The proposed storage tank would be constructed to be approx 70 ft in diameter and approx 10 ft in height, with a max storage capacity of 180,000 gallons. The existing well at MacArthur Well #1 site currently pumps directly into the FRVCSD's distribution system and, following construction of the new water storage tank, would be utilized to fill the new storage tank. The addition of a storage tank and new pumps would provide above ground storage and pumping capacity necessary to provide the target 2-hour fire flow rate of 1,500 gpm.
